About this session

Some pupils find fine and gross motor skills difficult to master. For some, even holding a pencil correctly with an aid is a challenge. Sone children often appear to struggle with organisation, not having what they need when they need it; pens, pencils, glasses, etc.

Others may seem particularly uncoordinated. Children who appear to fall over their own feet when moving about a room or classroom or who finds riding a bike without stabilisers virtually impossible.

If any of this sounds familiar to you and you want to offer more effective support with children who struggle with coordination, then this session will offer a useful introduction and help you know how best to provide that support.

Imagine if they could improve those children's writing?

How great would they feel that their head teacher could read what they have written?

Imagine if they could join in with their peers in their games rather than avoid them.

What if they just felt better about getting organised before school in the morning and at the start of the school day? Our Dyspraxia session is led by experienced Occupational Therapist Kim Griffin who will help you better understand coordination disorders including Dyspraxia.

Join her to access a wealth of knowledge and practical strategies.

Useful for:

  • pupils who are struggling with coordination issues and/or have a diagnosis of Developmental Coordination Disorder

Also included:
