About this session
Autistic children often play in different ways and it is important to recognise and understand the reasons for this difference as it allows for better and more effective support as they progress through school.
Successful play opens up the world to them and allows to engage more meaningfully with their peers and those supporting them.
Useful for:
- those working with or caring for Autistic children and wanting to improve relationships, communication and the effectiveness of support
Suitable for:
- Parents, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCos), Teachers and Learning Support Assistants
Also included:
- Summary sheet of Key Points
- Certificate of Attendance
